But that is not all that this region has to offer. There are beautiful towns and villages here. You also make the crossing from this region to La Maddalena. This is an island group where you will encounter crystal clear water. You can still take walks here to bays where nobody can be found. If you come by plane, Olbia is the best airport to visit this region.
Cannigione used to be a fishing village, but has since grown into a popular holiday resort. The place has a natural harbor, and here you can rent a boat or book a boat excursion to the Maddalena archipelago. In the village, there are various shops and restaurants, some of which are mainly aimed at the local population. A market takes place once a week, and a night market is also organized in high season. Cannigione has a small beach, and you can go to the water sports center for surfing or water skiing. More beautiful beaches are a few kilometers outside of Cannigione.
