Information

A yacht charter is more than a holiday — it’s a unique experience that combines freedom, comfort, and discovery. Our detailed information page guides you through everything you need to know about routes, charter types, and on-board life, helping you plan your perfect journey along the Turkish Riviera.

Upon signature of the contract by both parties, a deposit of 50% of the total charter fee is required within five (5) working days. This initial payment serves as a down payment. The remaining balance may be settled in cash at embarkation with our Hera Yachting representative present, or via bank transfer no later than six (6) weeks prior to the embarkation date.

The Charter Agreement becomes valid and binding upon signature by both parties and upon receipt of the deposit by HERA YACHTING.

Should the Charterer wish to cancel the charter, the applicable TYBA/MYBA cancellation terms shall apply. Cancellation becomes effective only upon HERA YACHTING’s receipt of the Charterer’s written notice.

  • HERA YACHTING strongly recommends that all Charterers obtain comprehensive travel, health, and cancellation insurance in accordance with TYBA and MYBA best practices to protect against unforeseen circumstances and potential financial loss.

Most nationalities are required to obtain a visa to enter Türkiye. We recommend confirming the specific visa requirements with your nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate prior to travel, or by visiting the official e-Visa website: www.evisa.gov.tr/en.

Hera Yachting reserves the right to operate the cruise program with an alternative gulet, provided that the vessel is of the same or higher standard. Passengers who are offered a suitable equivalent or upgraded vessel or cruise program are not entitled to a refund.

Hera Yachting reserves the right to cancel or interrupt any cruise at any time in the event of force majeure.

If the yacht experiences mechanical failure, fire, or any other serious damage that renders it unusable for the Charterer, and the disruption lasts between twelve (12) and forty-eight (48) consecutive hours, the Charterer will receive a pro-rata refund for the affected period. Should repairs require more than forty-eight (48) hours, the charter may be extended—subject to mutual agreement—to compensate for the lost time.

In the event of a total loss of the yacht, or if repairs require more time than the entire charter period, the Charterer will receive a full refund of all payments made. No further claims or compensation will be accepted.

Governing Law

Hera Yachting is a Turkish company. It is hereby agreed between Hera Yachting and the Charterer that all matters related to the interpretation, validity, or enforcement of these terms and conditions shall be governed exclusively by Turkish law and resolved solely before the competent courts of Türkiye.

Your Charter Agreement will outline the applicable insurance provisions. The yacht is fully insured by the Owner throughout the duration of your charter. However, guests are strongly encouraged to obtain Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance for additional protection.

You may also wish to secure Personal Accident Insurance, Medical Insurance, and Personal Effects Insurance, as these are generally not included in the charter fee and remain the responsibility of each guest.

We cannot accept liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to war or acts of terrorism (actual or threatened), civil unrest, industrial action, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, port or airport regulations or closures, unexpected changes to public transportation schedules, or the rescheduling of aircraft, vessels, or any other mode of transport. Any such events that delay, disrupt, or extend your travel or holiday arrangements fall outside our responsibility.

Should any issue arise during your charter, please inform the captain immediately so that he may address the matter and notify Hera Yachting without delay.

All formal complaints must also be submitted in writing directly to Hera Yachting within twenty-one (21) days of the charter’s completion. Complaints received after this period cannot be accepted.

We value your feedback and welcome any suggestions that may help us enhance our services, onboard operations, and overall guest experience.

Hera Yachting is responsible for arranging all services and itineraries related to the charter. However, Hera Yachting’s liability and responsibility are strictly limited to services provided on board the yacht. Any arrangements made by or on behalf of passengers prior to embarkation or after disembarkation are undertaken entirely at the passengers’ own risk.

As a courtesy, Hera Yachting may assist in organizing land excursions, transfers, or other ancillary services. These services are operated by independent third-party contractors, for whom Hera Yachting assumes no liability. Hera Yachting shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from such independently operated activities.

Hera Yachting remains fully responsible for the standard of service and overall quality delivered on board its vessels.

Air conditioning policies vary from yacht to yacht. Some vessels are equipped to operate air conditioning 24/7, while others require the system to be turned off at midnight. Since air conditioning, freezers, and refrigerators run on the generator, usage may be limited when the yacht is in port due to noise regulations and the potential for disturbance to neighboring vessels.

Night-time use of air conditioning may be possible in certain conditions, particularly when anchored in a quiet bay with minimal surrounding boat traffic. Availability will depend on the yacht’s technical capabilities and the agreed number of operating hours.

We recommend discussing your requirements directly with your captain, who will advise on feasible arrangements based on the yacht’s systems and the terms of your charter agreement.
